I Objectives

The objectives of this discipline are as follows:

(1) To have a basic grasp of the history of western philosophy and modern western philosophy, and an overall understanding of philosophy;

(2) To get a deep insight into the fields studied and engage in frontier research;

(3) To have good training on the native language of the fields studied and master at least one foreign language and read original works.
